Mobilgrease 28 is a high-quality grease that works well in different temperatures. It contains a special synthetic fluid and thickener. Its consistency falls between that of NLGI grade 1 and grade 2 greases.

It offers outstanding performance over a wide temperature range. The synthetic base fluid in this product is wax-free and has a high viscosity index compared to mineral oils. The synthetic base fluid in this product has no wax and has a higher viscosity index than mineral oils.

This makes it easy to pump at low temperatures. It also reduces torque when starting and running. Additionally, it can lower operating temperatures in rolling element bearings.

Mobilgrease 28 contains a clay thickener that helps it stay stable at high temperatures. The dropping point of Mobilgrease 28 is 300ºC. Mobil grease 28 resists water washing, provides superior load-carrying ability, reduces frictional drag, and prevents excessive wear.

Mobil Aviation Grease 28 Applications:

Mobil 28 grease lubricates different types of bearings and parts that require less friction and wear. One can utilize it in worm gears, splines, screws, as well as in plain and rolling bearings. The grease is suitable for applications with varying speeds. The recommended operating temperature range is -54ºC to 177ºC (-65ºF to 350ºF) with appropriate reapplying lubricant intervals.
